Day 01 Arrive Kolkata
Arrive in Kolkata by international flight

Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.

Day 02 A day in Kolkata for visits
Today take a guided tour of the Victoria Memorial and magnificent buildings in the area of Chowringhee and Dalhousie Square. Visit the Indian Museum here. Afternoon, visit the Belur Math and Dakhineshwar Kali Temple.

Day 03 Fly from Kolkata to Dimapur and drive to Kohima (about 74 kms)
In the morning, after breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight to Dimapur.

Upon arrival in Dimapur, you will be met by our tour representative who will then transfer you to a local restaurant for lunch.

Later proceed to Kohima. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel

Kohima, the capital town of Nagaland is situated at an altitude of 1444 m above the sea level. The State of Nagaland was formally inaugurated on December 1st, 1963, as the 16th State of the Indian Union. It is bounded by Assam in the West, Myanmar (Burma) on the east, Arunachal Pradesh and part of Assam on the North and Manipur in the South. The State consists of seven Administrative Districts, inhabited by 16 major tribes along with other sub-tribes. Each tribe is distinct in character from the other in terms of customs, language and dress.

Day 04 A day in Kohima
Today after breakfast, proceed to visit the Kohima village which is also known as Bora Basti. (Bora means Big and Basti means village).

Bora Basti village is said to be the biggest and most populous village in Asia and second largest village in the world. To enter the village one has to go through the wooden gate with scimitar of horns of buffalo head pointing towards the bravery and valor of the Angamis, one of the Naga Tribe.

Later you will visit the Kohima War Cemetery. This cemetery is a symbolic memorial raised as citation for the supreme sacrifice of the Officers and Jawans (both British and Indians) of the British Army during Second World War. After visiting the war cemetery, visit the local market and see the local life here.

Day 05 Kohima - Khonoma - Kohima ( 40 kms)
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Khonoma village.

Khonoma village is about 20 kms from Kohima. This village is built on a high spur with spectacular views of the mountains, and beautiful orchids. The Nagas are proud of Khonoma where the Naga fighters made a last stand against the British in 1879.

After visiting the village drive back to Kohima.

Rest of the day free to explore Kohima on your own.

Day 06 Drive from Kohima to Wokha (about 80 km)
In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Wokha. This district is mainly the seat of Lotha Nagas. Lothas are famous for their cheerful dresses and sweet and melodious songs. On the way to Wokha you will visit Lotha Tribal Village.

Upon arrival check-in at the tourist lodge.

Day 07 Drive from Wokha to Zunebhoto (120 kms)
In the morning, proceed to drive to Zunebhoto, the land of the Sema Tribes.

Semas are a martial tribes and are known for their fighting skills and for the ceremonial war dresses.

Day 08 Drive from Zunebhoto to Mokokchung (70 kms)
In the morning, drive to Mokokchung. En route visit the Ungma village. This village is the second largest village in Nagaland and is still steeped in traditions.

After visits, drive to Mokokchung. Mokokchung district is habitat of the Ao Nagas.

Day 09 Drive from Mokukchung to Tuensang (115 kms)
In the morning, drive to Tuensang. Enroute if possible visit the Longtrok at Chungliyimti where according to Ao legend and beliefs, the first Ao ancestors had emerged.

After visiting Longtrok, drive to Tuensang. This district is the homeland of a number of beautiful, cheerful and yet attached to ancient wild life accustomed people of Changs, Yimchungers, Khiamungams, Upper Konyaks, Sangtams, Semas and Phoms.

Day 10 A day in Tuensang
Today you will visit the Villages of Yakor, Sangpur and Pansao to see Yimchunger and Khiamungem tribes.

Day 11 Drive from Tuensang to Mokukchung (115 kms)
In the morning, drive to Mokukchung. Enroute you will visit Longkhum village of Ao Tribe, which lies atop a hill. The tree lined approach road to the village is impressive. The view from the students Jubilee Tower on the highest point of the village is breathtaking.

Day 12 Drive from Mokukchung - Mon (210 kms)
In the morning, after having breakfast drive to Mon. On the way visit beautiful sceneries. Mon district is the land of the Tattoo faced Naga artisans and craftsman. These people are still ruled by their chiefs who are called Anghs. Tattooed face and wearing feathered head gears and traditional dresses is still predominating among the Konyaks. On the way visit some of the Konyak Tribe, Tobu Village.

Day 13 A day in Mon
Today you will visit Hakpang and Angpang villages in the Mon district. These villages are around 20 kms away from Mon. Hakpang and Angpang village are the Konyak typical villages. Overnight in Mon

Day 14 Drive from Mon to Shangnyu
In the morning, proceed to visit the Shangnyu village a ruled by the chieftain Angh. Shangnyu is one of the prominent villages in the Mon district. There is a wonderful wooden monument which measures about 8 feet in height and 12 feet in breath, which has, it is believed, been constructed by the divine angels.

Day 15 Drive from Shangnyu to Sibsagar (80 kms)
After having breakfast you will leave for Sibsagar. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel.

In the afternoon, visit the famous Shiva Dol Temple.

Day 16 Drive from Sibsagar to Dibrugarh (150 kms) and take a flight to Delhi
In the morning after breakfast, drive to the Dibrugarh airport to connect your flight to Delhi.

Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will be met our representative who will transfer you to an airport hotel which we will hold for wash and change. After having dinner, you will be then transferred on time to the international airport.

Day 17 Depart Delhi
Depart Delhi for your home by international flight.
